Show Background:

This theatrical reproduction of the Disney Classic movie The Lion King brings to the stage the story of the lion cub Simba as he learns about the circle of life. It begins with his childhood which ends abruptly when his father Mufasa dies, and his envious Uncle Scar leads him to believe that he caused his father's death. He runs away to try and forget this horrible incident when he comes across his soon-to-be best friends, Timon and Puumba. With their help, he finds the inner strength to return home to Pride Rock and rightfully take his place as king.
